Avensiss T3-s 05 Plate

Hi guys,

My first post so a hearty hello to all.

I have very recently bought a 05 1.8 VVTi T3-s and was wondering, are the rear parking sensors standard? If not, is that something I should let my insurance company know about or is it a case someone had them fitted as an optional extra?

No, they're not standard on that model.

I had them fitted to my 07 T3-X a few months ago but it didn't enter my head to tell my insurance company. Would have thought they might be pleased though, less chance of damage while reversing, although if I was hit from behind I suppose repair costs would be more expensive.

Perhaps I'll give them a ring to find out.
