Xt3 Sidelights

Guys,

Can you tell me what's the correct way to replace a sidelight bulb on an XT3? I have the haynes manual but it doesn't cover the facelifted 4.2 where the sidelight is in the headlight unit.

Do I have to remove the whole unit to get at this bulb?

Thanks.

I too bought that Haynes manual. The coverage of the round fogs 4.2 model is not good at all. The pictures are low contrast and indistinct. The format is quite small and the paper cheap and nasty. I am not very pleased with Mr Haynes just now.

I too shall be printing off the proper answer to your query

On the drivers side you ease back the wheel arch liner and reach through to the headlight. You can get at the passenger side one from under the bonnet.
