any idea what normal oil temperature of oil in sump is?

hi mate

the oil is normally cooled by the coolant, so it is deemed the oil temp is a bit less (let say 60-70 C)--on the cars without oil cooler.

in case of oil cooler -- this oil temp might be in limits of 50-60 C. Cheers/Igor
