Hi, does anyone know if there is an easy way of removing the speed limiter on a ST205, Simple wire cut or is a piggyback ecu needed. Just that when im driving on a local airfield it can get quite annoying if you know what i mean!

cutting the speed sensor lead may cause probs .. since your car does not run on VVT or VVTi .. maybe it wont cause any probs ..

in my case i drive a 3SGE VVTi .. so cutting those leads are not my option .. when i did try to cut those leads my VVTi did not function .. what i did was i installed a rev speed meter (RSM) .. they also serve as a speed cut limiter as well as show u your speed RPM and other stuff such as 0-100 , 0-400 ..

a piggyback is sufficient if RSM is not your choice .. those piggybacks can be obtained from salvage shops or bought brand new ... in malaysia those piggybacks can be bought and installed for a sum of USD 20
