BOUT TO BUY SOME FRONT MINTEX PADS FOR THE T SPORT BUT THE AD SAYS TO FIT AKEBONO CALIPERS,

ALSO SAYS 2002 ONWARDS FOR T SPORT!!!

IM ASSUMING THERE RIGHT,

i went on that link an put my car in, and it said original equipment was greenstuff and an upgrade would be redstuff pads which is fair enough. They not do discs aswell?

.... edit - yes they do. Must remember to look harder lolz

Lol, EBC Direct seperate it out into discs/drums and pads/shoes. Annoying when you want both but still only a few clicks away.

wonder if they changed caliper suppliers from PRE to FL models, lets hope the ad is right cos i ordered them, lol

Well the pad design looks right (not done a set of pads on a cts for AGES) so fingers crossed! lol

The Mintex part no in the add (MDB2257) is for Lucas calipers...

MDB2586 is for Akebono calipers...

It all depends where your Corolla was made...

GB production = Lucas

Japan production = Akebono

From the horses mouth:

The front pads are MDB2257 and the discs are MDC1588. The rear pads are

MDB2596 and the discs are MDC1678. If you require anymore information,

mine has made in uk on the drivers side of the windscreen,

and also the chassis no, is suppose to identify it, dunno how tho, lol

i think the T sport was made in the derby plant!!!

How does one know where their car was made?

see if there is a gap between the radio and the dashboard LOL! if there is, made in UK

Correct me if i'm wrong but if your chassis number starts with SB1 its UK and if its JTD its made in Japan :D
