The air con light in my Aygo has stopped working (the green light that lights up when air con is pressed)

is this just a blown bulb or is it an indicator that there is a problem with the air con

I'm still in warranty, will it be covered in either case

HmM - that light should be an LED - so in effect, should never go out. Maybe its a faulty switch? If its under warranty, get it checked - you may find that because its so cold out there, that the A/C will not come on.

Do please report back how you get on :)

You have got the fan on haven't you,I know it might sound obvious but it threw me the first time the air con light didn't come on.

The fan is 100% on and the air con button is pressed when the green light doesn't turn on

I always have the air con on. I should really keep it off unless I need it on

I think I may have over run the air con and wrecked it?

Poss leak on the A/C system. If still in warranty gt your dealer to have a look. A/C system wont turn on if pressure is too low.

Mart.

Pressure can also bee too low due to low temperatures.

A/C typically doesn't work below 4ºC. But in either case the LED shoud still light.

Yes it IS an LED, and it CAN be replaced, but it's not really simple,

as the internals of the switch are fragile when you try to modify them...
