Would you mind sharing what you think of the UC after having driven it for 5 months?

Hi we have just taken delivery of a 1.4D4D AWD on a 59 plate with 5000 miles on the clock. It has the urban-pack and front and rear mudflaps. I must admit I normally drive a BMW X3 2ltr diesel which has masses of torque, but the U/C be it only a 1.4 diesel is no slouch, being where we are here on the Isle of Man we don,t have any motorways and very few dual carrigeways so you can,t blaze around at 70mph but it really is a revalation and keeps up with the best of the rest.

Having been a previous owner of a Rav T180 the best way to describe it is as a baby rav4 not just as many gismos but getting there. The drive is OK and even with a tiny rear window feels quite spacious inside. One thing I do miss is a central armrest.

All in all I cannot understand why they are not selling better than they are. I did test drive a petrol version and was not impressed but the diesel is a lot lot better motor. Perhaps it really boils down to price cause they are a bit top heavy on price for a brand new one.

Will write again when it gets a few morw miles under it,s belt

regards Clare

The one we have is exactly the same as the one in the previous post photo,s
