Hilux Cab Windows

I dont know much about the hilux except that I think it would suit us BUT we have dogs..

these may sound questions but

1. If you have the cab on the back, are all the windows sealed ie NOT suitable for animals

2. Can the cab be attached/removed or is it permanent

I assume you mean the hardtop/canopies that fit onto the pick-up tub.

1.Yes, the side windows do open on most canopies. Some have the 'Pop open' type of opening window, while others such as the one I have

has sliding windows.

2. Yes, the canopies can be easily removed and refitted as they 'clamp on'. There are usually either four or six clamps. The canopies are quite heavy though. It is a four man job to lift into position so you wouldn't want to be removing and refitting

it on a regular basis.
