Please help me! I am currently considering buying a Hilux 2.4D 4x4 (about '87) and was wondering if anybody can give me details of their MPG? I'm just getting into this 4x4 and your comments would be most appreciated. Thanx for taking your time to read this.;)

Since this model is old, never take the values offered officially as true. Expect 25-30 in town and 30-35 motorway. Of course, it may be more or less, but expect it to be very close tho these figures.

I get 400 miles to a tank of deisel which costs about £47 @78p per litre. Mostly unloaded and driven sensibly on open and in traffic.
