Headlamp Bulbs

Recommended Posts

Right ok i have 100w headlamp bulbs in atm, but i want to change to something more legal.

Any opinions on which bulbs to get apart from standard ones for the headlights plus sidelights?

Also while im at it im going to get sidelight bulbs and silver indicators.

I'd say go down the HID route. Personally places like HIDs4u charge a premium on the kits on ebay (they have the same tech inside) and the ebay kits seem to be more reliable.

If you don't want to go down the HID route then Osram Nightbreaker are supposedly good bulbs...

What are 'silver' indicators? Sounds like fun...

Thought about hid's but i would be the one to get caught, im just going to go down the route of standard bulbs.

Ill look them up, cheers.

The silver indicators are coloured silver but flash orange.

more legal.... I can't believe i'm hearing that!

I would stick with what you have.

Its more of the fact that the round bit in the headlamp that gives the beam its pattern is turning brown than them being illegal.

Need to get them changed before it burns it out.

I'm using the 5xLED's for sidelights. Indicator bulb are the Slivertec ones. For the side repeater bulbs I'm using the Chromed/Amber 501's.
