Takin Out The Block

Quick question... If i were to rebuild the block, in order to get it out would I have to pull it from the bay, or drop it from the engine bay... Ive only heard about them being dropped, but wonderin how much harder is it to be pulled?

I have taken one out the top but...

it was just about bare, no manifolds, alternator, etc and gearbox had already been taken out the bottom

If you don't want to strip it that much, it has to come out the bottom.

so much easier to drop it, remove the rear subframe though as itll give you more room and isnt that much work
