Tire Pressure?

I put some new 17" alloys on my corolla with some new tyres however I'm unsure on what the recommended tire pressures are supposed to be.

The tyres are Lexani LX9100 205/40ZR17 84W XL. They tell me the max PSI which I know I shouldn't go for :P however there is no information on the recommended. What is the best way to go about finding out?

i like to use 34psi . but im on stock wheels. ur tyre wall is quite low so maybe go for 32psi might be bumpy otherwise .

I think the recommended pressures for my car are:

Standard Front Tyre Pressure: 32 psi

Standard Rear Tyre Pressure: 32 psi

Loaded / Speed Front Tyre Pressure: 38 psi

Loaded / Speed Rear Tyre Pressure: 38 psi

But I don't know what tyres that is with to compare.

I used to run my 215/40/R18s at 32PSI and I run my 205/50/R16 at 36. I'd probably look at 32 or 33 for the 17s.

32 psi all round on mine, on 205 50 16 standard. When travelling with load 32 front 36 back.

all i ever go for is 32, weather its 15" 16" 17" 18",

hey, all good so far, and in all fairness its pretty hard to keep her dead on a figure on the gauge.

actually while on the subject and not trying to thread-jack but has anybody ever noticed a gauge from one garage reading one thing and another gauge reading another  , so you dont really know what pressure your putting in

yeah it can be hard with the older gauges . morrisons supermarket garages have nice digital ones.

CTS hand book says

For speeds under 100mph, 32psi

For speeds over 100mph 41psi

so if you get a heavy foot all of a sudden you have to jump out and put more pressure in before you can go over the 100 :P
