HI ANYONE OUT THERE GOT ANY IDEAS WHATS WRONG WITH THE CENTRAL LOCKING ON MY 1997 AVENSIS THE SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY DEAD IE NO DOORS LOCK OR UNLOCK USING KEY IN DOOR OR REMOTE ALL OTHER ELECTRICS WORK FINE INCLUDING THE ALARM ANY HELP MOST APPRECIATED THANX

Try the fuse marked 'dome' in the engine bay fuse box. It is a known fault, that has happened to me. The fuse does not actually blow, but the metal breaks down over time.

If it works, it is a nice easy fix.

A common problem usually is the integration relay, which controls the central locking, before checking that check if the bulb has blown in the interior light, the central locking circuit works through the interior light and if the bulb blows the circuit breaks hence no central locking regards.
