Beep!!! how do I switch off short sharp beep I get shortly after starting my '54 avensis. Driving me mad!!

Nice m ove RED Yaris but no answers to the happy chappys questions yet. WEelcome to the club and no doubt an Avensais owner will awaken from their slumber to recount their tale of how to explain it!
