Walliams, Lucas In Nationwide Adverts

David Walliams and Matt Lucas have revived some of their best-loved Little Britain characters for a new ad campaign. The duo will be seen as "laydees" Emily and Florence as well as Vicky Pollard and pal Rochelle for the Nationwide Building Society TV adverts, which begin screening this weekend. In one, Vicky - known for her catchphrase "yeah, but, no, but yeah" - is seen mistaking a Nationwide branch for a chip shop. Exasperated at being unable to buy a battered sausage and deep fried pizza, she storms out raging: "They don't even do chicken nuggets." In another, Matt and Davud - who is due to marry model Lara Stone this weekend - appear as transvestites Emily and Florence when they try to open an account for "ladies". The first of the ads can be seen on Sunday at 9.15pm, during ITV1's Lewis.
