Number Plate For Essex Boy Racers

Drivers from Essex are likely to be at the head of the queue when a particular personalised number plate goes up for auction this week.

For the registration coming under the hammer is ESS 3X, which has a reserve price of £900.

It is one of 1,500 special plates being auctioned on Wednesday at Whittlebury Hall, near Towcester in Northamptonshire, by DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) Personalised Registrations.

What in the Gods name does the DVLA do with all the money it gets from personalised number plate registrations?

I find it funny and really sad when you see a personalised number plate on a knackered Corsa for example. Wouldn't it have been wiser to have spent that money on a better car? :S shows which is more important to them!

You should keep your avatars on photobucket or locally then you will always have them to hand... If you get my drift :D

ESS 3X fetches £6520 and the buyer would have been prepared to pay another £15,000 on top It makes the reserve of £900 look a bit daft

You've still not got over that blow up Barbie, It would have been alright but it kept deflating and on returning it to that special emporium KP said " Excuse me but this doll keeps going down on me"

To which the manager said " Oh In that case it will be an extra tenner"
