Ee111 4Efe To 4Efte Conversion.

Hi I want to put a 4EFTE into my 1997 Corolla. I know a guy who said he'll do it no bother but I just need info on front mounted intercooler and the wiring loom. I called Fensport about the intercooler and they said they could make one but they need the dimensions and stuff. I don't have those. Could I put the engine in and leave the top mounted intercooler on and then take the car to a specialist to fit a front intercooler or will the engine be damaged if it's driven at all without a bonnet intake for the top intercooler?

Regarding the wiring loom, what should I purchase or get for my friend so that task is easier for him? This seems to be the most confusing part. It's sort of puting me off to be honest.

My one other question is about the exhaust. I'm thinking I can just fit the engine then drive the car to a custom exhaust maker. Can my friend fit the engine without worrying about the exhaust? What does he need to do?

I would be very gratefull for any usefull replies. Any other advice would be great.

EDIT: Also what do I do about air filter/induction kit?
