E11 Oil Etc

Will shortly be carrying out a service on the Corolla 1.4 so just wondered which grade and make of oil are prefered.Also,I'm guessing genuine Toyota plugs,filters etc are prefered too.Roughly how much do these cost from a main dealer,I'm in the South-West by the way or,am I better off buying on-line service items?

Oil filter would recomend using an oem item - got mine from main dealer with new sump plug washer for £9.45.

Plugs wouldn't necessarily buy from main dealer but would recomend equal grade to oem and of equal quality - shop around.

As for oil I have always used 0 - 40w in any engine(fully synthetic) as this covers everything, manufacturer recommends 5 - 30 for mine - check owners manual and it will give you the grade. I prefer Mobil 1 but Castrol edge is good to.
