Thinking About Getting A Celica

Hello,

i am currently driving a 1.6 colt and i love jap cars so i plan to go for the celica 1.8 2002 on my birthday so then i will have 2 years no claims:)

just a few questions i would like answered :)

are they reliable ?

would you recommend one?

what to look out for when buying?

anything else you think i should no

Are they reliable ? If you buy on opt for a face-lift model ( from late 2002 onwards ) they are better !

Recommend one .... Definately yes !

What to look out for..... Full service history is important.

Pre-face lift models had an oil burning problem ( oval pistons ). The 140 model is cheaper to insure than the 190 model with 'lift'.

Otherwise a good choice :thumbsup:
