Me and my Carina again! is it very difficult to get at the drivers window on my 1996 Carina to lubricate the runners, any help much appreciated :help: Cheers Jim :thumbsup:

Get a can of wd40 with the little straw attachment. Remove the door card, you should then be able to point the straw in the direction of the window runners.

buy a can of lithium grease for a proper lubricant.. get this from Halfords... spray on thin and sets into a grease. WD40 is bad for electronics

try wourth rubber care formulation

surely it works fast & easywith no other effects like swelling the runner rubber as experienced by use of wd40/oil base lubricants/rust removers(a strict no no )

Thanks to you all for the help, it looks like I need a new window motor drive as the window comes up very slowly and a couple of times I have had to pull on the window to help it up, any one know how much this little job is gonna cost :D
