Hi all

I have an IQ (love it) and rally a Corolla GT (1980) TE71 fitted with a 2 TG 8 valve DOHC (pre AE86).

The car has historic papers and competes in historic rallies eg Roger Albert Clark Rally etc

I am rebuilding the engine after an over revving mishap :(

I am having great difficulty sourcing a standard, stock headgasket.

Any advice please

not sure if you have tried the main dealer, they may be discontinued but the part numbers are :-

04111-27034 for the full engine gasket set

04112-27034 for the head set.

Thanks for that.

I rang Toyota York and 'the system said no'. Not that they didn't have the part but that they didn't recognise the part number.

Instead they wanted the chassis number, which won't help as it prob relates to the 2TB engine (single cam).

Help still needed guys and gals.
