Rear Brake Problem

hi everyone i have an avensis 2001 1.8 hatch my problem is i have a shudder from back of car when driving and my rear drivers brake is really heating up have put new pads on remived caliper greased it up and it is movig fine can anyone help please :help:

Not quite clear what you have checked on the caliper. If you have greased the guide pins and they are moving freely have you checked the piston to see if it is seized. If your model has the drum in a disk handbrake it could be seized.

greased the piston its moving ok mines is the think it is handbrake thanks for your time :thumbsup:

Hi

Have you got drums as well as discs on the back? I think that you will find that you have a sticking handbrake cable, i had this problem & look what a pain in the bum it turned out to be, all because Mr T has his parts database wrong! Cost me over £500 in parts & labour to sort out.
