Paint Shiny On Door Trim

Hi All

I've noticed on my 2007 Auris where the drivers door is the only door that's really used that the black matt paint that is on the top half of all doors has gone shiny from touch.

It seems to be something that happens with age on the Toyota in general.

It looks rather odd seeing the other doors aren't getting the same use.

Is my only option to dull this shine to respray??

Why not use some scotch brite (grey) to dull it off.
