Lack Of Power In 88 Pickup

Hi everyone. I have an '88 pickup with 165k miles, the 22RE engine and 5 speed stick transmission. The problem I have with it is it just doesn't seem to have as much power as my uncle's 89 with 205k. I just had it tuned-up, ran some fuel injector cleaner through it, everything checks out fine. The main problem I have is going to school, There's a long, fairly slow incline. If i start out going about 60, by the time i get to the top, having floored it the entire way, i'm going 45 on a good day. It also doesn't quite have the acceleration compared to his. Any ideas? thanks.
