Rav4 2001 Nrg Side Steps

Hello

My wife has a 2001 NRG 3dr, recently bought a pair of side steps off eBay, they came off a 3dr 2005.

I checked the part number, and its for the 2001/2005 model.

I am buggered if i can work out which holes the brackets line up with.

HELP !

it appears that the supporting profile 'bar's didnt come with the steps. good lesson learned there. know your goods before you buy...

You certainly need to be very careful in Ebayland. I gather from a friend in the local boys in blue that rather a high percentage of the local fraud squad's work has an eBay connection it somewhere along the line. eBay can be very useful and there are some very good sellers there, of course, but the catchphrase 'buyer beware' was never more relevant.

I always appreciate the references to good eBay sellers here as there is no better way to sort the wheat from the chaff.
