Yaris Roof Strip

I know it's a bit of a long shot but I'm trying to track down one of the rubber strips that runs the length of the roof (on the outside). One of ours has mysteriously disappeared and Toyota want £50 for a new one! It's for a 2002 3-door Yaris.

None of the breakers on that big auction site will sell me one as they think it would be hard to post (or not worthwhile getting it off) - I'm sure it's just a flexible rubber strip though.

Any ideas?

From memory it is NOT flexible so would be a pig to post!

Why not try a local breaker and pick one up?

Ah that would explain it. I kind of assumed that it was just a strip of rubber trim that clipped in. Is it common for them to fall off? We have no idea where ours went.

I have tried one local breaker - I'll try more when I can.

Cheers

I lost one last year, they are not flexible.

I think someone must have pinched it off my car, they are clipped in very securely so will not fall out by themselves.
