Hi there...

Just been looking at the pics of the 2006 SR corolla im supposed to be picking up next week...noticed the black grill in the middle of the bumper at the bottom...you can see big sort of gaps/slits to the inside sidesof the inner bumper as if the black grill needs pulling forward....so hard to describe...but is this normal or has it been damaged??? Please help guys...thanks...Sammy

Those of you with SR's...look at the middle black grill at the bottom of your bumper...do you see large slits to either side of it???

Hey, im pretty sure that is ormal unless they are absaloutely huge, certainly mine has little slats where the grill fits into the bumper, but the only thing you can do if you arent sure is check it before you pick it up or when you go to pick it up.

Thanks Liason909...

I took a walk today and saw loads of t3's as they have the same bumper and that lower middle grill i talk about were slotted in securely with no gaps...rang toyota...they recon that grill slides back and forwards...weird design if you ask me...making me wonder if it has clips or something behind it to STOP it being pushed back...i dunno!

Hi Sam do you mean the plastic bit around the foglight? Because on the Petrol SR there is no hole but on the Diesel SR there is a hole in the grille for the intercooler which is situated in front of the passenger side front wheel

RobD4D...no not the plastic around the fog light...i mean the black plastic grooves in the middle of the lower bumper (ie between the foglights!)..on the ca ri want ot buy it looks like its been pushed back coz you see the actual slits from the front that it slides into...is this something to worry about...ie signs of accident damage or do they just come loose?
