Hi, newbie here, we have 2 Toyotas in the family. A '95 Tarago (Previa) and a '90 4Runner 2.4 Petrol Sport (2 door Poverty Pack). The 4Runner is "mine" and the Tarago is my wife's...well we both drive it anyway. Kids learn to drive 'em too as they reach driving age, 2 down 2 more to go! I do all of the mechanical work, to date, on these cars as I strangely enjoy getting my hands dirty.

They've both clocked lots of miles and things are falling apart but I keep fixing 'em so they stay on the road, I love a challenge.

The Tarago does commuting, travelling and family duties and the 4Runner does the same (dad's taxi) but plays on the beaches often when I go fishing or windsurfing (born again windsurfer). It also gets used to travel through National Parks to get to secluded parts of lakes, beaches and campsites. Both cars perform admirally and satisfy their design briefs.

The Tarago is standard and a manual and the 4Runner lifted 2" with AT 31 x 10.5 x 15 tyres. Good enough for where I normally go playing.

Most information for the 4Runner I find in all sorts of 4WD forums which supports this model well, however the one that gets me stumped is the Tarago, not enough info out there. So here I am to bother you lot and I hope someone here knows more about them than I. I hope you don't mind the questions.
