@Sonur I really really need the exterior Trim that sits in the C-Pillar. It's the bit behind the Near Side rear window:

Cool, so what are you doing with it?

KP

Well I wasn´t going to say right away but I´m having trouble finding my ultimate engine swap

and hopefully the last swap, but It´s an 3vzfe 3000cc Camry engine I got twinturbo´s that fit

the engine superb but the two engine I´ve found are just to expensive.. Im trying to find a

hole car with the engine running so I can have everything swapped over to my G6, Rims and brakes.

But If I don´t find any in couple of months Im going for an secont engine, same old 4age 16v that you got

in your GTi but with an AE95 engine block to fit the 4wd gearbox diff. I already got one rebuilt in the shed

but I always wanted to go 3000cc camry engine and Im going to try my best to find one :crybaby:

Nice update, will be interesting to see what happens with the Corolla (and Scoob)

Thanks man, I myself am dying to drive It, I got a new sr20det engine harness last week from Miami in USA

and Im going to try start the car next saturday

will post pics and maybe if everthing goes well theres going to be a video to....

Thanks for the interest guys  Nice to know people are looking at this stuff..

I´ve been working on the sr20det engine harness and checking the plugs and wire rout

and amacingly some of the sr plugs fit the subaru harness  like the wipermotor

share the same plug and a relay plug for the heatermotor inside the car fits the sr harness

but I have to flipp the wires inside the sr to fit the right wires on the subaru plug

Other then those two plugs I only have to cut and solitare one plug inside the car to fit the cluster

for all of the warning lights and to get the speedo and rev gauge working...

But I havent done anything the last couple of wheeks in the cars becouse Im restoring my garage roof so I can do this at home but not at my fathers garage :yahoo:

More to come, It´s waterproff to day

I was just looking at the front bumper on your G6 - I've not seen one like that before. Its not the same as the UK G6's, the G6R, or the TTE bumper here: http://www.jpayne.force9.co.uk/forum%20photos/Corolla%20WRC%201_800.jpg

Was it a standard fit mate or did you buy it somewhere?

Cheers!

This question has already come up befor but It Is some sort of aftermarket Toyota lower-front lip..

this bugeye body has a splitted front and rear bumpers, so you can or could when it was new, buy

some other cind of lower-front piece from toyota, I just found mine off a liftback corolla same front as my G6

at a local toyota partsale, mine actually was a new piece unpainted..

Original G6 lower-front bumper with added lip from toyota

l_496fc71897164020a44cae5b2d79083c.jpg

The lip on its own

l_471558fa9f2a44a5814faa5c74d7bac7.jpg

Some brand of lower-front bumper chin looking with added holes for extra fog lights

l_018f291b603142c4b1d82d27090638f3.jpg

Here you barely see but the "chin" is more out then the lisensplate is..

l_0671da680a9c4fd082707c4827e9cbd4.jpg

Then you could get another from Booster-tuning I think and from TRC-TUNING.de straight to the E11 http://trc-tuning.de/index_shop_neu.htm

Pics of it

_booster_e11_03f.jpg

_booster_e11_05f.jpg

I actually want this one for my G6 but I dont think I ever will, I think It´s so exspensive

_savage_4master.jpg

I hope this answeres your question

Keep posting guys It´ll keep me on track with the projects

Just came from a week vacation out of the country in a rented summerhouse

and one of the 15" tire under the Camry was flat, It didn´t hold any air

when I pumped air back into it, I expect someone had stuck it with a knife

I had no other extra 15" tire and price of four used was the same as a 16"

rims with used tires i found online so I grabbed them, this is the result

DTM multi lug rims Bridgestone 205/55

This was a nice week

Shcool started monday and I met all my shcool buddys and catched up

with them what they did in there summer vacation..

Then every evening the last 5days I went out about 22:00 after getting

the kids to bed and went over to my dad´s garage to work on the Suban (subaru-nissan)

to about 3:00 into the night then went home to sleep and woke up 6:30 to go to shcool .

Why so late at night? when you have two kids and a wife In College finishing her doctor degree

you have to sacrifice something so I secrified my sleep

The list:

FMIC and pipes and hoses

Turbine

Hedders

Intake filter and adapter for MAF sensor

sr20det engine harness and lower engine harness

sr20det coilpack igniter

Oil lines for turbo

Water lines for turbo

Water lines for radiator

Water lines for headerblower

Fuel lines

Fuel filter

New lowering springs or weld the old ones

Downpipe from turbo to existed 3" exhaust

External wastegate or build a mount for factory to fit

Propshaft

Battery

Trunk interrior

Fenders inner cover

Engine under cover

Engine oil

Radiator fluid

Gear oil for gearbox

I wrote this down when I go the car, now 80% of this Is In the house

Some progress pictures, new Driveshaft/Propshaft..

l.jpg

l.jpg

Some underbody photos

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

I think I was taking photo of the little space that I had to mount the Turbo

l.jpg

And heres the Turbine Im going to use, large Toyota blower CT26 from an MR2

l.jpg

Present day, all hoses and fitting have been bought

gone many times to the shop to grind and cut some stuff, have to weld the downpipe togeather and

the hedders to the mount that goes to the turbo, I looked into the electric, moved couple of wires

over the engine to relaybox, fitted new grounds where they were needed..

So new pictures will come soon,,,

And here is the next one

Went over there after dinner and did some painting on the engine mount crossmember (under the engine)

and the driveshaft but forgot to take pictures of it, and I put in the new fuel lines and oil returnline from turbine, I´m going to let the pictures talk now....

l.jpg

l.jpg

Turbo mounted on with oil lines, trying to figure out where to lign the returnline proberly

l.jpg

Fuel cable and fuel filter relocation bought a universal brand and strapped It to the body, cheap fix I know

l.jpg

Found out both of the front lowering springs where broken, will probably weld them again

l.jpg

Fitted the front bumper just for fun, I mounted the big FMIC befor

and was trying to find the best way to rout the intercoolerpipes

l.jpg

l.jpg

Looking pretty sweet, not much left to do here

l.jpg

Then for and hour I solitered the alternator and starter wires, It took a long time but Im not pleased with it

l.jpg

Solitered the ubik out of them but I tink I´ll do It again with a better soliterepistol (dont know the name)

l.jpg

Enoy fellas

Ok.......

Trying to make this a lowbudget Is really hard :crybaby: I don´t want to cheap on the good parts

when comes to make this thing powerfull, So today I spent alittle more over my price range...

Bought these really exspensive silicone hoses 45° and 90° elbows

l.jpg

Went to the boneyard and took subaru apart In the engine bay, got a grade deal on that

l.jpg

l.jpg

Bought a 2.5" exhaust for downpipe and had It bent for me at the shop

l.jpg

Had this (don´t know the English word) from a Carine E with 2.5" trough out

l.jpg

Still have to cut and weld into it alittle for the adjustable wastegate blow trough

l.jpg

l.jpg

I was going for the 3" downpipe but I didn´t have the room for It

l.jpg

Then couple awheeks ago I bought these 17" 8.5" with

don´t know brand or offsett) Im thinking KTM ORANGE

l.jpg

Then I had to change some of the silicone elbows for a 57-63mm intake ones and they where exspensive

l.jpg

But they look lovely and do there job right

l.jpg

Radiator silicone 90° elbow hoses, hope this will look sweet when done

l.jpg

Then I coulden find a 90° elbow with 70mm intake so I squeezed this

63mm onto the intake, It took me a while to get It on there

l.jpg

Just to see where the intercooler pipe wil come into intake

l.jpg

To day, getting there day by day

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

Going to use that 1.50" exhaust there to connect the radiator hoses, gonna paint it blue or black

l.jpg

And my friend the former owner of the car came to visit

l.jpg

jealous

l.jpg

And one just to uck with him

l.jpg

More to come, Do enjoy

This is endless work :help:

I spent my saturday and all the night up to 5 working on the cars

Finished the radiator hose connectors

l.jpg

Welding the stoppers

l.jpg

one grinded and sanded out for primer and paint

l.jpg

Painting

l.jpg

l.jpg

Bought two of these long silicone radiator hoses, tuff stuff

l.jpg

Then fabed up the intercoolerpipes have to weld these two together

l.jpg

Same thing here

l.jpg

l.jpg

Intercooler bolted up

l.jpg

Also finished the fuel linkage cable mount and fabed up and painted the stock wastegate

not the best picture of it

l.jpg

Off to the Downpipe

l.jpg

Welding the ubik out of ot

l.jpg

Taking out the wastegate blow through port

l.jpg

Had to do abit manual

l.jpg

Almoast there

l.jpg

Then I had to weld the Camry´s exhaust and while I had it in the lift I thought I'd just throw in

my AE82 corolla coil lowering springs I had new in the box and had it for 5years in the storage

l.jpg

And I was thinking of using those coilsprings that I bought of eBay to build a homemade coilover suspension in the Subaru

l.jpg

New VS old

l.jpg

Those AE82 coil springs are Autostyle and they tend to build them to high in the front from factory

so I cut the springs half of the top and half of the bottom to get it lowered then the rear springs

l.jpg

All lubed and bolted togheather, I also sanded and paint the damper and plates

l.jpg

All done front and rear

l.jpg

Five o´clock and noone out side took some pictures of the progress

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

l.jpg

Now I need to fix all the rust and paint some of the boddypanels and It´s good for the winter

Enjoy boys and girls
