Only half of the heater controls light up on my W reg Corolla and,up until last night none of it did :( .Found that tapping the left hand side of the dash gets that part working but, nothing at all lights on the right hand side. It's a nightmare in the dark to find and operate the heater controls so if anyone can tell me how to get the heater control surround off,I would be very grateful  :)

Cool.

They usually just pop out when you lever it with a screwdriver or something.... Should be fairly obvious what pulls off. :P

But I don't know the E11 so I can't say anything.

Here's a post from way back in 2004 - it should help. The link to the pictures no longer works.

Thanks to ae111sr,the link was spot on.Removed heater panel and located blown bulbs which for some reason also blew fuse 23(side lights etc). Now need dash bulbs x2 and replacement spare 15A fuse which I will sort in next few days.

Also checked the pollen filter while I was pulling the car apart. What a awkward :censor: that is!Wasn't that bad but will get a new one of those soon too
