Driver's Door Won't Open With Remote

Dear all, my Yaris Verso 1.5 2001 show some strange behaviour lately; unlocking the doors with the remote will open all doors except the driver's door. This must be manually opened by key. But the closing by remote will close all doors including the driver's side. something strange with the solenoid? How do I remove the door panel to check? maybe a mechanical problem? Thanks for any help or info Jim
