After Market Cat

We have just had the cat replaced, due to the pipe splitting.

The orignal sensor was put back. All was well for about 3 weeks, now getting error code description cat efficiency below threshold.

Cleared code and it came back on about a week later.Just happened again after a week.

Both times the petrol tank was very low [range 20 miles]

Any ideas and can anyone give me the resistance readings for the sensor. Thanks

Thanks for the info, the code we have is P0420. Is this the sensor after the cat?

Apparently this error code can be due to the fact that if your engine burns oil, this can contaminate the cat, which reduces the efficiency and causes the error code.
