I am pretty convinced its my tyres more than anything else. I'm still on 195/55R16 Michelins which are very hard and the roads outside are pretty slippy.

I might think about the LSD.

I guess I will just have to learn to drive the car a bit better. It's rather "brisk"

Switching to 205/55/16 will give you better grip maybe by having slightly wider tyre so more surface area in contact with the road? Also gets rid of the skinny tyre look, that is unless you're considering changing the wheels altogether.

According to the powers of motoring knowledge....isnt 220BHPish the most a normal chassis/diff can put down before it gets a bit loose on the front end?

LSD and softer compound (Road Tyres) must be the only way forward i.e Focus RS and the RevoKnuckle diff thing and its unique tyres*.

*Funds dependent of course!

I've had a few offers! LOL, At the moment I'm going to keep it. It really is a showcase of engineering more than anything else.

the main advantage for me is it will still do an easy 300 miles on a tank if you don't cane it.

The fun bit is when you turn up at lights knowing you can smoke the vast majority of "quick" cars on the road. 260PS (300PS Crank?) and 1210kg is 214PS/Tonne of wheel horsepower and 252PS/Tonne of engine horsepower.
