Sorry to ask what will no doubt be asked before, but I cannot use the search function due to work being cheap and only having a cheap butchered version of IE6.

Was standard my rolla is sitting on 195/50/16 rubber all round.

What other sizes will fit the standard rims??

205/55/16, much cheaper than the 195's.

I thought 195/55/16 were standard on the tsports?

as has been mentioned best to go with 205/50R16 on 16" wheels, the 205 gives more grip and more stability, and imo the 195 is just too skinny for a car the size of a corolla, my friends golf mk4 has 225 on! If you have 17" wheels then go with 215/40R17 or 215/45R17.

The tyre width is more likely to be determined by the width of the rim, not the rim's diameter.

Fitting inappropriately wide tyres on a "skinny" rim will give you poor steering response and handling. In a worst case scenario, the tyre itself can come off the rim under cornering.

As a general rule, stick with factory width tyres on factory width rims or only go up one size in tyre width.
