Weirdheating Issue

Hi ,

I'm having a strange issue with our 2004 d4d.

Car gets up to normal operating temp but the car is freezing with heat on full. I figured out if I put controls to face level only and close the passengers vents I get warm air.if I open pass vents it's cold as if the ac is on.

Any ideas

does your car have dual zone climate control?

if so it sounds like the passenger side temp is set too low either turn it up or turn off the dual zone.

if not then there is something wrong with the heater controls, because of its location it would be best inspected by a dealer

cheers, yes its got duel climate control and i tried setting all temps up,down , one up one down.on and off to no avail.

will have to try mr t so im afraid
