Best Engine Oil For 1.6 Corolla (4A-Fe)

Hello everyone

I have a 93 Corolla with the 1.6 4A-FE engine and it has covered 95k miles. I would like to know which engine oil would be the BEST to use for this engine. I am thinking about Motul 10w 40 but would that be too thick? Any comments on that please.. Thanks..

if it was me i would use 10w 40 semi synthetic oil

I used a Semi-Synthetic Castrol Magnatec on my 4A-GE, runs very smoothly now. ;)

i stick 10w-40 semi in my wifes 4a-fe 96 corolla. doesnt seem to use as much doing this either. the 10w-30 used to drop down over a month. car covered 109k.
