Radio/cd Controls Not Working

Hi all, I am new to this and hope that you kind folks can help me. Have a Avensis Tourer T2 D-4D 2006 and the only controls that work on the radio/CD are the on/off and volume knob and the CD eject button. So can play and eject a CD but not change track, search or randomise. The radio is stuck on one station as none of the other buttons work not even on the steering wheel. Toyota main dealer has quoted a ridiculous £2,000 to replace the whole unit. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions how to repair, or replace at a reasonable price. Thanks a lot. Drive safe. Twojacks
