Couldn't find where else to post this whinge/suggestion BUT:-- Isn't it time us Auris owners had our own forum? :(

OK the basic technology is the same as the Prius but us Auris owners are I feel a bit different and in a minority, dare I say more advanced, judging from the Prius forum comments there are significant differences in many areas. :argue:

Oh Dear! Sorry 'Red Yaris' I should have requested an AURIS HSD Forum. [Thinks? what's this Yaris owner doing on the Prius forum anyway - do we have a convert here?]

I strongly defend my right to whinge :ffs:

Is it me or are them there Auris HSD drivers much more aggressive and pushy?

Perhaps the Auris isn't as relaxing to drive as the Prius?

Hybrid Auris owners have two forums already. The Auris one and the Hybrid one. And they want another one

To be fair, it's only Terry953 who made the suggestion: I don't suppose he speaks for all Auris HSD drivers.

IMHO think we should continue to "share the hybrid love" in this forum, which was already called "Hybrid/Toyota Prius" (i.e. not specific to one model) when the Auris HSD was still a twinkle in Mr. T's eye

I can see a case for a tweak like changing the subheading ("Forum for Hybrid vehicles such as the Toyota Prius") to include the Auris, but I would hope Auris owners already feel welcome and I am certainly interested to read, and learn from, their posts here.

Actually being fairly new to this forum myself, I would prefer a clear distinction of where the Auris HSD should be discussed, rather than to hop about the Auris and Hybrid/Prius ones trying to pick out the HSD topics from both. I'm not really interested in reading about the Auris as such, but I am about other Hybrids (since this is why I've bought into Toyota this time). So changing the Auris section to "Auris (non hybrid)" would be better for me, not that I would expect such a change.

Its a lazy thing but I would prefer just to be refeshing the same page rather than navigating 2 sections.

I agree with that. Also, we must look to the future when more and more models have hybrid versions; the Hybrid/Prius forum is going to get really busy - which could be good and bad at the same time.
