Steering Noises And Poor Stability

Finally reached the point when I could no longer tolerate the creaking noise at low speed turns, the vague and sloppy response at 50mph, basically the Aygo gave the impression that it would dive off the road at any random moment. So it was off to the garage.

My local dealer did a great job in diagnosing a (likely) worn steering rack which was replaced under warranty. The steering is now vastly improved, stable and not creaking.

This brings the total warranty parts replaced so far = clutch and steering rack.

Still happy with Aygo, doing approx 53mpg mix of urban and town driving. Will update when its had MOT at end of month.
