mines doing exactly the same!

only changed my gearbox oil 20,000 miles ago

Changed my gearbox oil a few thousand back and it is still doing it, seems to be the way they are, all the toyotas I have owned have been the same with noisy clutches and boxes.

i only happends when i down shift and when its cold,it's fine when it warm , i first thought i wasnt depressing the clutch enough but it does it at the same junction every day . new fluid for me then , thanks for all the help
