hi ive just borrowed dads rav4 lx 2ltr s.noticed that it feels like the clutch is slipping slightly.dad hasnt noticed it but he is about the right age to be senile,anyway i wonderd if i could cure the slipping by changing the auto transmition fluid,or is the cure a bit more drastick.if yes to fluid,which type would you recomend.thank you for reading this and please try to help.cally al.

Welcome to the club cally al.

There is no clutch and they doo tend to slip or race when under load. I would dip the oil and see what colour it is for now. Changing the oil is not very straight forward. Leave your dad alone, we are not so sharp at our age :rolleyes:
