2000 Hi-Lux Engine Change

I own a hi-lux monster truck that has a standard 2.5 turbo deisel lump. The engine is a bit tired and gutless now, I am trying to find out what engine I could replace it with, 3L and up + still turbo deisel. The engine needs to be fairly powerfull to shift the lump of a hi-lux + not overly expensive and if poss a fairly straight forward exchange!!

Any advice will be very very greatfully recieved as i'm at a bit of a loss!
