Not at home so can't check at the moment. Does anyone know if the steel nuts can be used on standard Toyota alloys or are they tapered.

I know I should really of checked before buying the new alloys.

Thanks

The alloy wheel nuts have a square shoulder and fit flat / flush to the wheel, steel wheels are usually tapered, it is very important to check what type you have otherwise you will be watching a wheel overtake you........Not good

I never realised how many shapes of wheel nut exist when I bought alloys for the first time. Since then I've bought several sets of alloys for the 2 RAVs and each set of nuts is different. As Parts-King says, the wrong nuts can be dangerous - I know! I had fitted the wrong nuts to a set of MAK Mirrors I had and stopped at a layby on a dual carriageway to investigate the knocking noise - the front wheel off-side was held on by 1 nut....the rest had fallen off

Lesson learnt!!!
