Hi all, I hope someone can shed some light on my problem for me. When ever I leave my car the cooling fan comes on after between 10-45 minutes and will run until the Battery goes flat. I either have to disconnect the Battery or remove the wiper fuse to stop it happening.

Has anyone else come across this????? its driving me to distraction.

well they often cut in when car stops, but should only do so within a few minutes.

i aint overly mechanically minded but sounds like a faulty temp gauge.....but not sure as there should be no power for the car to know what the temp is.....

could be the temp sensor that brings on the fan playing up.you will find it at the bottom of radiator on the right when standing at the front of car.fan also comes on with aircon too,so problem may lay there.

if you disconnect the sensor and it stops running the fan (engine cool) then its the sensor,if it keeps running then then its the aircon bringing it on so youll need specialist help.
