Hi guys, my car seems to have developed a problem with gear change from 1st to 2nd when in lift. The car is ok in normal driving, only when in lift it won’t engage 2nd. Any solutions? Gear synchro worn?

Abit more detail will help mate, What is the gear knob not moving at all, are you having any werid noises? Is it crunching? How about in normal driving have you noticed anything different from before? You check oil? Have you tried hitting lift in 2nd and tried changing to 3rd?

No its not crunching just won't slot back into second when in lift, going fron 2nd to third when in lift is no problem. Normal driving everything is fine, no noises or weird sound. I changed the oil about 6 months ago and is fine. There is 80, 00 on the clock.

Honestly I cannot see how rally cam engagement/lift can affect the gear box. If there is an issue with the gearbox it would be present all the time.
