Hi,

I've just bought my wife a 2005 Corolla Verso and have a question abotu the gear changing. in "E" mode when moving off from a stationary position the car does not change gears that smoothly. It goes from 1st to 2nd but feels like its been manually changes but the clutch has be press for a bit too long. Also when slowing down it jerks abit. I've found the best wat to drive it is with a very light press on the accelerator. When driving in the sports mode it seems a lot better. I'm supirsed that at 25-30mph the car is in 5th gear!

Any ideas? Do I need to get the tranmission looked at or is they way they are.
