Tyre Width ?

Hi

I have 215/45/17 tyres on 17x7 juno rims. Will these rims take a 225/45/17 without any problems. Thanks in advance.

Yes they will but I think your on the limit before the rims start to pull in the side walls too much. (bulge)

This will then distort the tyre tread so the extra width will not gain you any extra tread on the road.

Always go by the manufacturers advice. Plus what do you want the tyres to look like when fitted.

Bulging or in line with the wheel rim?

I would stick to the 215, but heh its your choice.

auris sr180 had 225's on a 7j rim so yes but may look a bit bulged
