Purchasing Coilovers After Christmas....

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anybody could help me with some questions regarding coilovers on a Corolla T-Sport?

I have been trauling the 'net countlessly since I purchased the car a couple of weeks ago, as I feel the 2003 version I have is stupidly high :(

I have only found a handful of options. My favourites out of the few I have found are:

Hi mate. them D2 coilover my mate had on his strlet turbo and they seemed to be really hard suspenion and didnt handel anygood maybe diffrent on the corolla but would doubt it and the other set iv never heard off.

u should have a look at B.C coilovers for ur corolla loads of people on hear are puttin them on and i personally have them aswell and alot of my mates. think there roughlly £600 if am correct for a corolla amazing at handeling and u can have it from standered height to the sills on the ground lol. or Tein coilovers are pritty good aswell few people on hear withthem slightly dearer though

D2s all the way they will eb my next big purchase for my 2004 t-sport..

FK are really good. Housemate has them on his corsa. Im running d2s on my rolla. Love them.

People say about harsh rides but your going to get that on coilys!!

Thanks for the comments guys, was good to get some feedback on these, as I found the D2's on eBay, and was unsure of the quality....

I'm now wondering whether if there's any point of me having coilovers?! As I won't be a full out track user, be changing my ride height much (if any at all, once I've lowered it) etc, so was thinking of going down the spring options now.

I've found some H&R 45mm lowering springs for £170, and was wondering if it was worth it? As I just prodominantly just want the arch gap smaller!

Bridges use to have the 45mm H&R springs I believe and he liked them so best bet is let him see this thread he's always willing to help.

Aye I did have H&R and they are a great piece of kit for the money. Your best bet to get them cheaper is search Germanys eBay, takes a bit of time searching for the correct springs but they are on there.

Are you 16" or running bigger rims? On the FL the car was looooow on 16" so watch those curbs.
