Corolla Verso Which Tyres?

I am currently running a corolla verso on a 03 plate and was just wondering if anyone could recommend some tyres that would hopefully kill some motorway roadnoise and maybe last a bit longer than the last set (toyo proxes 12000 miles) any help appreciated

My original Dunlop Sport were replaced after 22,000 mls and hadn't reached the legal limit. I replaced them with the same ones and again replaced them after 22,000 mls before they reached their legal limit. I am using Michelin Energy this time to see how they are and so far good road holding. I have never had under 20,000 mls from any tyres on any of my cars. I never buy budget tyres as they are false economy.

I switched from Dunlops to Michelin Energy tyres. Much quieter, better grip and slighty more comfortable ride. Seem to be wearing slowly too. Not noticed much difference in mpg though.

Hi. I have a 08 verso 1.8. It has V-rated tyres on it,would it be OK to fit H-rated ones(ie 205/55 R16 91H)? Also has anyone used all-weather(Nokian WR G2) or all-season tyres(Vredestein QUATRAC 3) on a Verso and what are your experience of them? Thanks

I wouldn't fit lower rated tyres than the vehicle came supplied with.

I have Uniroyal Rainsport 2's on my car and can recommend them.

Fitting non manufacturer spec tyres will effect your insurance, they will not pay out if you have an accident. If you do fit them you need to inform the insurance company and see if they will still cover you or modify your premium to continue cover.

Thanks for the quick responds, guys. I've decided to go for the 91V rated Vredestein Quatrac 3 as they are £25 per tyre cheaper than the Nokians and both owner reviews have been about the same.
