Wanted Urgently Original Suspension

Can anyone help? I am after suspension struts and springs for 2.0GT Celica (IMPORT). :( The Springs on the car are totally shot and the banging is doing my head in. we have taken the spring off the strut by undoing the nut but the spring is not under any pressure and can be lifted off by hand!!! :ffs: . Is this right or should the spring be tensioned? Has anyone lowered there car but still got the original springs, theres got to be someone out there?!?! Need them ASAP!!! Cash waiting but not too much of it!!!!
